🔧 Inventor’s Day – One-Day Camp Highlights

  • Intro to Invention: Icebreaker activity where campers share their favorite inventions

  • Design Challenge: Create a new invention using recycled materials (mini “Shark Tank” style presentation at the end)

  • Invention Station: Rotating mini-labs with one min challenges like:

    • Marshmallow tower challenge

    • Bridge building with popsicle sticks

    • Spinning top makers

  • Inventor Role Play: Dress up or act like famous inventors (e.g. Edison, Tesla, Ada Lovelace) and share fun facts

  • Patent Your Idea: Create a mini “patent” drawing and description for their invention

  • Camp Showcase: End-of-day gallery walk where kids present their inventions to peers and families
