Touch & Tango Toddler Class

Touch & Tango is our one-of-a-kind toddler class where movement meets messy play in a fun, themed adventure every week. Each 45-minute session is designed to spark joy while developing gross motor skills (jumping, balancing, running) and fine motor skills (pouring, scooping, sticking), all while building social confidence and creativity.

Our Touch and Tango Toddlers will learn to:

  • Wiggle in a Teddy Bear Parade

  • Flap like a turkey in the Turkey Hokey Pokey

  • Stomp through an Apple Orchard Relay

  • Crawl through a Spooky Spider Web

Sensory play uses taste-safe, kid-friendly materials—like squishy pumpkin cloud dough, maple-scented leaf bins, and edible chocolate “mud”—so toddlers can safely explore textures, scents, and colors. Every week also includes a hands-on craft (bear masks, mini pumpkin painting, kindness crowns, and more) and movement to kids-friendly songs parents can sing along to. Parent/guardian participation is encouraged throughout, so grown-ups and littles can laugh, bond, and make memories together.

September – Teddy Bear Adventures

(Bears, honey, maple leaves, apples, bees)

Week 1 – Bear Boogie

• Movement: Teddy Bear Picnic Dance – march, twirl, and cuddle your teddy to the “Teddy Bear’s Picnic” song.

• Parent Role: Parents join the parade holding hands with toddlers.

• Sensory Play: Taste-safe oatmeal “bear cave” bin with toy bears.

• Craft: Decorate a paper bear mask.

Week 2 – Maple Leaf Moves

• Movement: Leaf scarf dance to autumn music, practicing tossing, catching and twirling with colorful scarves to create exciting dance moves to modern music.

• Sensory Play: Maple-scented leaf bin with safe fabric leaves.

• Craft: Create a fall leaf collage.

Week 3 – Apple Orchard Stomp

• Movement: Apple Picking Relay – toddlers fill baskets while parents cheer and guide. Imitating the quintessenial Bollywood dance move of picking apples from trees while grooving to Indian songs.

• Sensory Play: Apple-scented water play with floating red sponge “apples.”

• Craft: Paint an apple print tote bag.
